Elakizhi

Elakizhi (also called Patrapotala Sweda) is a fomentation therapy using cloth pouches filled with fresh anti-inflammatory leaves such as castor, drumstick, and nirgundi, sautéed in medicated oil. The combined heat and phytochemical action loosen stiff joints, reduce swelling, and provide profound pain relief.
